On May 30, hundreds of employees at the Yunda Express distribution center in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, went on strike to protest the company’s relocation plan without compensation. During the protest, workers blocked the entrance to the distribution center to prevent vehicles from entering or leaving. In the early hours of May 31, police forcibly dispersed the workers at the gate. According to some workers, police violence occurred during the dispersal. Sources say that the Chengdu distribution center is scheduled to relocate to Lezhi County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, on June 6.
