8月4日晚，湖南永兴县江山府小区的业主围堵永兴县城关中心派出所，高喊“派出所放人”，抗议派出所警察抓捕维权业主。为抗议开发商私自将大门出卖给商家做茶楼，永兴府业主于7月底发起维权行动，4日白天，业主与开发商发生冲突后，3名业主遭到警察抓捕。
On the evening of August 4, residents of Jiangshanfu Residential Complex in Yongxing County, Hunan, surrounded the Chengguan Central Police Station, shouting “Release them!” to protest the police’s arrest of fellow residents involved in a rights defense action. At the end of July, residents of Yongxingfu launched a protest against the developer for secretly selling the community gate to a business for use as a teahouse. After a daytime clash between residents and the developer on August 4, three residents were arrested by the police.
