Weibei Kindergarten shares the same owner as Heshi Peixin Kindergarten, where lead poisoning was previously reported. However, local authorities claimed that no signs of lead poisoning had been found at Weibei Kindergarten and distributed milk to the parents, urging them to send their children to school on the 8th. Still, many parents remained skeptical about the claim that “the other three kindergartens have no lead poisoning,” and traveled to Xi’an for independent testing. They are currently awaiting the results.
