From July 20 to August 1, hundreds of Chinese workers repeatedly demanded their unpaid wages at the “Building 59” project in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The project, undertaken by China Xinji Company, had been withholding their wages for an extended period. As of August 1, the workers had still not received their hard-earned pay.
