A bank official surnamed Li, who participated in the interception, was killed instantly, while a police officer sustained severe injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

A deadly car-ramming incident recently occurred in Chongqing, leaving four people dead and eleven injured.

According to sources, on October 11 in Guofu Town, Qijiang District, Chongqing, a man in his forties went to the local police station to obtain a death certificate for his mother. He parked his car in a non-designated area, which led to it being wheel-locked.

When he came out and found his car locked—apparently after failing to complete his errand—he became furious, started the engine, and drove into a crowd, resulting in four deaths and eleven injuries.

Sources also revealed that the man held a high-ranking position—he was a manager at a local bank.
