「武汉城管凶残殴打摊贩，当局删视频压舆情（2026.08.09）」8月9日晚，湖北武汉武昌区黄鹤楼附近一座天桥上，城管人员与一男一女两名摊贩发生冲突后，对两人实施了极其凶残的殴打。
多段现场视频显示，一名身穿城管制服的人员与两名便衣人员在天桥上围殴了两名摊贩。期间，一名城管连续快速击打女摊贩的面部，将其打倒在地；随后，该城管又用手铐连续击打男性摊贩。在男性摊贩已失去反抗能力后，该城管仍拿来矿泉水瓶继续施暴，并用矿泉水瓶重击女摊贩头部，将其再次击倒。现场还有多名身穿制服的执法人员在旁围观拍摄，但无人出手制止。
现场的路人把视频上传至社交平台后，激怒了大量网民，纷纷接力转发，要求严惩凶手。但相关视频很快便遭到审查人员大量删除。

On the evening of August 9, on a pedestrian overpass near Yellow Crane Tower in Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hubei Province, urban management officers became involved in a confrontation with two street vendors, a man and a woman, and then violently assaulted them.
Multiple videos from the scene show one uniformed urban management officer and two plainclothes personnel surrounding and beating the two vendors on the overpass. During the assault, one officer repeatedly struck the female vendor in the face, knocking her to the ground. He then used a pair of handcuffs to repeatedly strike the male vendor. Even after the man was no longer resisting, the officer continued the assault with a plastic water bottle and also struck the woman in the head with the bottle, knocking her down again. Several other uniformed enforcement personnel could be seen standing nearby watching and filming, but none intervened.
After bystanders uploaded the videos to social media, the footage quickly sparked widespread anger among netizens. Many users reposted the videos and called for those responsible to be severely punished. However, the videos were soon deleted in large numbers by online censors.
