After their “tea chat” concluded on the evening of June 15 at Fangqiao Police Station in Fenghua District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, the “Xiao Luoxi” family chose to stay at the station to “resolve the matter,” demanding to meet Ningbo Party Secretary Wang Cheng. As of the morning of June 17, they had still not left. Meanwhile, some “online parents” set out from across the country to show support in Ningbo. On June 16, one “online mother” from Guizhou was intercepted by police immediately upon arriving in Ningbo, detained, and ultimately forcibly returned home. Roads outside Fangqiao Police Station were blocked by police for two consecutive days.
