On June 12, a female petitioner sang aloud outside the Ministry of Public Security’s Public Reception Office for Visitors, performing adapted lyrics based on the song “The Communist Party Is Good.” In the song, she accused the Chinese Communist Party of “saying one thing and doing another, and being solely devoted to lining its own pockets.”
