On August 4, more than a dozen petitioners gathered outside the Zhaodong People’s Court in Heilongjiang Province. They chanted slogans including “Unlawful rulings!” and “Severely punish the cancers of the judiciary!” to protest what they described as unlawful judgments issued by multiple judges at the court.
